What Alternoo is (and is not)
Alternoo is a family organisation tool: it works out and displays who is home which day according to the rules you enter. It is neither legal advice nor an evidentiary document: the calendar and its history reflect what the people holding the link typed in.
The service is provided free of charge, as is, with no guarantee of permanent availability. We do what it takes to keep it online and reliable, and we advise you to export your calendar regularly (Settings > Data).
Responsibility for content
The content of each calendar (first names, dates, labels, notes) is entered by its users, who remain responsible for it. Do not publish sensitive information in a calendar whose link you share.
School holiday dates come from the official calendars published by the competent authorities; they are provided for information and can be corrected by hand.
Intellectual property
The Alternoo name, the site and its code belong to its publisher. Your data belongs to you: you can export and delete it at any time.
Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy, available at the bottom of every page.
Applicable law
The site is published in Belgium; Belgian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the user's country of residence.
